Quite often, people find themselves in a situation where they are no longer able to cater for their pet for a variety of reasons.

K~B Paws is able to help in genuine situations. Nobody likes the idea of having to put down a family pet. We are able to assist as an alternative avenue of finding your pet another loving and deserving home.

Before contacting us, please consider the following :

• If you are looking to rehouse your dog due to human aggressive tendancies, K~B Paws will NOT assist in any way. We have strict temperament testing so as to NOT put another problem back into our Community.
• Have you had enough of certain 'behavioural' issues and no longer want your pet? Is your dog digging a few too many holes, jumping too many fences? Well why make this someone elses problem? Rehousing a pet with 'issues' will only give someone else the grief you have had! You need to work out why you got a pet to start with and get into some training for yourself and your pet. We at K~B Paws are not here to pick up the pieces from a lazy owner but will try to assist in working through these problems.
• Are you moving house? Moving States?... Please don't call us and say "Ohhh I really love my Rexy boy... But I'm moving interstate and it costs too much to take him". Would you get rid of your 2 legged kids that quickly? K~B Paws can assist you with pet relocation at a reasonable cost and put you in touch with several 'Pet Transporters'.

Please be aware : We are a non profit organisation and do require a surrender fee. Our fee's are based around the amount of vet work your 'surrender pet' has had done. If your pet is already desexed, vaccinated and microchipped- the fee is at the lower end of the scale. If your pet has had no vet work-the surrender fee will be worked out to cover at least half of the costs associated with getting the pet fully vet worked prior to adoption.
